The Greatest Show - Singapore Dreaming
Die die must watch ah! I haven't watch. Maybe tomolo! I will watch lah~ Why leh?
Because I'm the Supporting Cast mah. Listen carefully hor, it's Supporting Cast, not Extras ok?! You think I talk cock is it? Look the the full credits yourself. Why are you looking here? @_@ Up there lah~
If you are quick enough, you may just catch a glimpse of me. Yup, just a glimpse. haha~ Because I'm supporting cast mah, not main cast.
Anyway, in case you are asking me how I end up there. Well, like any fellow cocksters, I was surfing talkingcock.com and one of the entry was a recruitment for extras in a show called "5Cs". Being a avid talkingcock.com fan, I signed up without hesitation! Oh yeah~ Got a call 2 weeks later and went for the filming the following day. By the way, Colin Goh, if you're reading this, You Still Owe Me Taxi Fare leh!!! Hello?!!!
Actually, I didn't know I was in Singapore Dreaming, until Muhammad called me 2 nights ago and told me! Huh! When did they change title from 5Cs to Singapore Dreaming?!!
Ok ok, must watch, it's about fellow Sillyporeans. Let's support! yeah yeah yeah~
The Great Show
Did you read Sunday's paper? Oh yeah~ There's an article regarding the flowers along the road in city area. Many people commented that it was absolutely a pretty sight, and it'd be great if it could a permanent fixture. Well, the NParks guy did reply. So, what do you think the answer was? What else? No way. Only the stretch of road opposite our dear president's palace will still have the flowers after IMF is over.
Reason? High cost of maintenance. They imported the flowers and hired hundreds of workers to rush finish the work in a fortnight. The flowers must be watered a few times a day. Speaking of that, I did see it happening.
Was in the car, heading towards Selegie Road, and saw 2 poor Bangladeshis pushing a trolley to water the flowers. It was totally awful. A huge barrel of water, a small generator/pump, 1 guy push, the other guy direct the hose. The trolley's wheels weren't even seem to be working properly. Poor guy had to pushed it in such an awkward manner. *Sighs*
Ok, Mr NParks, you win.

Travel
Disgustin. IMF is near. What do we see? Oh yeah, very nicely decorated pavement. Flowers... flowers and more flowers... Higher frequency of trains for "the convenience of passengers"? Hmm, are you trying to show that our MRT system is awesome? Quick? Just a show for the IMF delegates?
Well, why not start with improving early morning train? Improve? I'm so sorry, I meant revert to the way it was. 715am at the MRT station. 5 minutes before the next train arrive? WTF? It gets so so so crowded. I don't remember having to wait so long few years ago. I've been taking the MRT since 1994! Do you think I'm blind? C'mon, putting up a show during IMF isn't enough. What we need is improvement in our daily life. Simple stuffs.
Thankfully, some things in life still remains good. Food. I don't mean food at starbucks, fish & co, Ajisen... Just food at our beloved Kopitiam. $2.55 for 2 veggies and a meat (after 20% discount). I'm glad we can still enjoy it. Other places outside city, maybe $2.5++ without a need for discount. Thank you coffeeshop! Screw you SMRT!
Btw, learned something new! Thank you! 왜아유? 왓아유두인나우? 아이미스유. 두유미스미투? ㅋㅋㅋ
